the inside world of my post modern mind

Simple Silhouettes

without comments

Simple silhouettes fade from the start,
into the calm setting midnight dark,
moon light races, reaching all it can,
my mind wanders and finds you again,
your gentle nature is why I write,
words that can’t describe the sight,
ingrained in my eyes and thoughts of you,
cherishing the moments with one in view,
when sunlight rests upon your face,
everything else falls into place,
during those moments with nothing else in focus,
your presence is the only thing I notice
