In the wake of a Hurricane
Oh Lord, what can one do
in the presence of your wrath.
Nature coupled with death
It is your will and I am lost
words stripped from my mouth
Full of hurt and despair for those
destined to be destroyed with the rise of the sun
to the storm of your calling.
MN State Fair 2005! (Photos)
Today was the great Minnesota get together, the Minnesota State Fair! Alright, not just today, but this day happened to be the one my mom and I attended. It was great. I love the fair, for the longest time I would go opening day with my mom (though I missed the fair entirely last year ) and since my whole family is out of high school now we just go whenever.
So here is a little photo re-cap of the day.

STINTer Briefing 3 (with Photos)
This has been a really hard week. Im sitting here waiting, waiting for what seems like its been forever this last day. Woke up at 7:30 and my bus doesnt leave from Keystone for Denver until 12:30 so Ive been bumming around cleaning up the condo, throwing out open food, doing dishes, praying, quiet time, and chilling online.

Flower from the Keystone Resort in Colorado. Not sure what it is but the color, texture, and contrast really caught my eye.
STINTer Briefing 2
Its been several days and wow, this week has been just amazing. Tonight was our commissioning. As I thought worshiping with 400-500 Christians so on fire for Christ is amazing. So broken and worthless in the eyes of the world, yet chosen by Christ to redeem His world. To be carried by our Father to 32 countries. Its amazing and so humbling.

the Toulouse and Paris STINTers!
Ive been taught so much about myself this week. God has been more then generous in his revelations to myself, about my weaknesses and pride. There is more but dont have time to write it up on the computer (I actually have a pen and paper journal again, pretty exciting!).
More than likely I will write up something a bit longer in the airport or once I get home on Wednesday, maybe Thursday. So until then learn to let God love you,

Not sure if I’ll be able to put anymore up while I’m out here, but though I’d put a shot up from a mountain climb earlier today. Had some great time with the Lord and then stood atop his creation. it was great and so very needed.
STINTer Briefing 1
Im here, made it to Keystone. Reflecting back to the night before I left, and even yesterday my first day here, there has been this dream like feel to it all. I believe I am still in that state of being, only starting to get used to it. This is all so surreal and incomprehensible to me. Weve had a couple large group sessions so far, where there are 500 people in one room, who in a matter of months will be all over the world sharing the gospel and expanding the kingdom of God! Were in something around 30 countries, and 67 cities (if my memory is correct). Thinking about it is amazing, Im sitting in one room, with laborers of Christ who will be on every major continent (all but Antarctica) reaching out and ministering to and with college students. The future eternity of the world is in part resting on the shoulders of 500 twenty something year old brothers and sisters in Christ.
Off to Keystone, CO
Im continuing to work on my lack of blogging and just introspection in general this summer. Its been a very fast week that is about to either; speed up, or slow down. Tomorrow morning I have an 11:19 flight out to Denver for the International STINT Campus Crusade briefing. None of us really know what we will be doing there for the week (I return on the evening of the 24th) but it is promising to be a lot of team building, and motivation with a mix of speakers, break out sessions, and general chill time. Ill be taking a bunch of pictures and might be able to update once or twice while Im out there.
